History
The concept of self storages originates from the USA, but it has its roots back in the 19th century in England, where local sailors stored their belongings in British banks before setting sail.
In the United States today, renting self strages is a matter of course, they are on every corner, they are simply everywhere and their history dates back to the 1960s. The first chains of storage facilities were opened in Texas.
You may also be familiar with the self storage system from reality TV shows like “Storage Wars”, where people compete against each other in public auctions to purchase locked storage units.
Present
This trend gradually moved from the USA to Europe and of course, it couldn’t bypass us in Slovakia.
We try to adapt our self storage concepts to the needs of people here, in our regions in Slovakia, so that storage is accessible, comfortable, and safe. We are proud to recycle older shipping containers and make our “self storages” out of them. We also deal with the sale of shipping containers themselves.
